“I have purchased two properties in the last 3 years and my wife and I used Action Property Inspections to conduct the building inspections for both. On both occasions we were extremely pleased with the manner in which their work was conducted and the thoroughness of the report.  My wife has been present in our house on two occasions when other businesses were conducting inspections for prospective buyers and said their methods contrasted drastically with Action Property Inspections, in that the other inspectors just tapped a few walls, had a general look around, and left.

“Action was recommended to me by my solicitors, before I rang I Googled the company and found the website.  I rang and spoke to Leisa the next day.  I found the initial call to be informative, helpful and best of all there was no expectation that I would necessarily book through your company or pressure to do so.  Probably for that reason as much as the recommendation from the solicitors and the fact that you actually sounded like you were genuinely interested in helping I decided to book my building inspection through Action.  Before the inspection everything was relatively smooth sailing, even in so far as you contacted the pest inspector for me and staff were always helpful.  On the day of the inspection I arrived and after being shown around by the pest inspector, spoke with Andrew.  I found Andrew to be helpful and clearly explained everything (sometimes twice given my limited building knowledge).  The report was thorough and easy to understand, especially with the pictures of the problem areas that were provided.  I have used a different company once before for a building inspection and while they were a larger company, their report does not compare to the Action report at all.  Their report was hard to understand and did not go through the house item by item, the Action report was easy to understand and very clearly set out what the condition of each room and part of the house was like.  The other company verbally indicated that the house was not very good but the report did not back thah up clearly, Action’s report was very clear.  And the kicker was that the other company would not get on the roof to inspection the condition of the ties etc. – ON A SINGLE STORY HOUSE – Action had no hesitation getting up on the roof on a raised Queenslander to inspect the condition of the roof.  Because of the thoroughness of the report, I knew exactly what I would have been getting into and roughly what it would have cost me in time and money.  While I decided not to proceed with the purchase of this house, I will most certainly be using Action for all future building inspections that I require.  I have also recommend Action to a girlfriend who is also going through the process of purchasing a house.  I would feel confident recommending Action to any other friends purchasing a home.”
